| Sarah Williams - Chair Sarah Williams brings a dynamic and enthusiastic energy to her role with MediaForum. From a bi-cultural family background Sarah’s perspective has been shaped to consider the impact of her work with those around her. With a varied career at operational and management level in the corporate, education and NGO sectors, Sarah brings a wealth of cross-disciplinary experience to the table. Sarah is currently the manager of the Dublin City North Volunteer Centre with Volunteering Ireland and herself volunteers with community media. |

| Aoife Bairead Aoife Bairéad offers to the board a wide range of experiences from the film and television industry, the social care services sector in Ireland and overseas. She has worked diligently for many years as an advocate for social justice and human rights at home in Dublin (in emergency and transitional housing projects) and with international organisations (Christina Nobel Children’s Foundation). Coupled with her professional training (drug counselling and intervention) Aoife’s diplomacy and attention to detail are valuable contributions in her role on the board. Aoife is currently undertaking a degree in Social Work in Trinity College Dublin. |

| JP Donnelly JP Donnelly gives to MediaForum considerable expertise strategic planning and management. Working from the bottom up, JP now has a built a strong track record of business skills over his 20 year career. Currently he is CEO of Ogilvy Group, one of the leading communications groups in Ireland. JP is also board member of the Crafts Council of Ireland, the Royal Victoria Eye & Ear Hospital, the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business and a non-executive director of Ogilvy UK. |

| Patricia McCann Patricia McCann’s senior management skills and experience demonstrate MediaForum’s commitment to policy and procedural organisational accountability. A native New Yorker, Patricia worked as Director of Localisation for Microsoft Office in Dublin. She brings to Media Forum essential skills such as strategic leadership, problem-solving, and team building capabilities. Patricia recently returned to university, completing an MA in Equality Studies in UCD, and is currently working as a consultant in the field. |

| Dearbhail McDonald Dearbhail McDonald studied law at Trinity College Dublin before starting a career in journalism in New York. Completing a first class honours masters degree in Journalism from DCU in 2002, she already has an impressive CV of journalistic assignments with various media outlets and is a regular current affairs contributor both in print and broadcast media in Ireland. Dearbhail is currently the Legal Affairs Editor and award-winning journalist with the Irish Independent. |

| Ruairà McKiernan Originally from Co. Cavan, Ruairà studied Management in Scotland before working for various multinational companies and NGOs in the U.S, Australia and Canada. Upon returning to Ireland, Ruairà worked with the North Western Health Board and the Foróige national youth organisation before establishing SpunOut in January 2004. Now based in Galway City, Ruairà continues to manage the organisation and its award winning SpunOut.ie youth media initiative. He sits on the board of several health and campaign organisations and is a regular contributor to local and national media on health and social issues. |

| Phil O’Kelly Phil O’Kelly’s analysis, observation and team-building skills make his presence a valuable asset to the board. A world traveller and graduate of UCD with a BA in Spanish and Greek and Roman Civilisation and he has also been trained as a behavioural analyst. He is working to address the root causes of inequality and social injustice. Phil is currently working on contract with Concern as an overseas logistician. |

Dave Dunn CEO Dave Dunn is working with the MediaForum board to initiate a strong and vibrant organisation based on a commitment to social justice. 29 year-old native of Dublin, Dave is a UCD science graduate (BSc Math Physics). During college, he developed a passion for event management and realised he wanted to put his energy to uses beyond the theoretical. Dave worked for two years with Concern’s on-street direct donor recruitment department. Dave is the founding CEO of MediaForum, and also serves as a member of Concern and volunteers with CEOL Ireland on the National Advisory Team. |
